NEED HELP--Need 2-3 volunteers to help operate cart at the Court House Square on Saturday November 29 from 5:30 to 8:30pm .  We want to distribute Santa letter order forms and information about our upcoming training at Waitman Barbe.  Special thanks to Norman Howton and Brenda Ruschenberg for helping with this freezing event.

ESL DINNERS Schedule—Tuesday—December 9.   LOCATION CHANGE—the last two dinners will be at the Trinity Methodist Church on Burroughs Street behind Unity Manor.  It is the small brick church on the LEFT.

Hostess for the final two dinners will be Belinda from the WVU Extension Office.  November 18 will have a menu featuring turkey and the December 9 dinner will have a ham feature.   If you plan to attend the FREE dinner, we will need an RSVP the week before.  If we do not have an accurate count, we may not have enough food to feed you.  These are conversational dinners to help ESL students practice their English.  This is open to anyone on our mailing lists.  We will prepare the meal together from 6 to 7p.m. and the meal will be served at 7p.m.   You should be done with eating, conversing and clean up by 8:30 .  This event is made possible by a grant from Laubach Literacy Action West Virginia.  IF you would like to bring a covered dish feel free.  Yes, I plan to attend:

15-17--ProLiteracy Worldwide has partnered with The Gathering of the Fellowship 2003, a not-for-profit corporation made up of fans of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, to celebrate the first-ever gathering of Rings fans planned for Dec. 15-17, 2003 in Toronto , Canada . The Gathering of the Fellowship 2003 will bring Tolkien fans from across North America and around the world to view The Return of the King, the third installment of the three-part movie based on Tolkien's trilogy, to be released in December 2003.
